Designing Presentation Slides for an LED Wall
Learn how to design clear presentation slides for an LED wall in Singapore boardrooms, from layout and contrast to testing and delivery.

Presentation slides for an LED wall need a different approach from slides made for a laptop or standard projector. A fixed indoor LED wall is bright, wide, and often viewed by people sitting at different distances. Good design helps your message stay clear without distracting from the discussion.
SECTION / 01
Start with the Room and Viewing Distance
Before designing, understand where the LED wall will be installed, where people will sit, and how the content will be used. Viewing distance affects how comfortable small text and fine details are to read. Pixel pitch is one factor in how an LED wall appears at a given distance, so the display choice and slide design should be considered together rather than separately. [3] Use large headings, short phrases, and generous spacing. A slide that looks balanced on a desktop screen may feel crowded when shown across a large wall.

Build for Clarity, Contrast, and Movement
Use a simple visual hierarchy so viewers know where to look first. Strong contrast between text and its background generally improves readability, while low-contrast grey text, thin lines, and detailed backgrounds can disappear in a bright room. Keep key information away from the extreme edges and avoid placing several important messages on one slide. Images, diagrams, and charts should be simplified for the room, not copied directly from a dense report. If slides include video or animation, use movement only when it supports the point being discussed. Consistent sizing, alignment, and transitions make the presentation easier to follow.

Test the Complete Presentation Before the Meeting
Review the actual presentation on the LED wall before an important meeting whenever possible. Check text from the back of the room, inspect charts at normal speaking size, and confirm that colours, images, videos, and transitions display as intended. Calibration can affect how colours and brightness appear, so the final review should be made on the installed display rather than only on the design computer. [4] Content delivery should also be checked with the room’s control and playback setup. Electrical coordination belongs to the installation planning process, particularly where display equipment and supporting systems share a meeting-room environment. [5] [6]
