LED Wall Content Checklist Before Installation
Use this LED wall content checklist to prepare formats, approvals, scheduling and testing before installing a fixed indoor display in Singapore.
3 min read
A clear **LED wall content checklist** helps Singapore business buyers avoid last-minute changes when planning a fixed indoor LED wall. Content decisions should be agreed alongside the display location, operating purpose and installation schedule, not after the screen is already in place.
SECTION / 01
Confirm the screen’s purpose and audience
Start by defining what the wall must communicate and who will view it. A reception display may need calm brand messaging, while a retail, hospitality or corporate environment may require changing campaigns, announcements or event visuals. Record the main content categories, the tone, the languages needed and the person responsible for final approval. This gives the design team a practical brief and prevents the screen from becoming a collection of unrelated images.

Prepare content in usable formats
Ask the content team to prepare landscape artwork and video at the display’s intended shape rather than treating the LED wall like a standard television. Keep important text, logos and faces away from edges that may be cropped or affected by the final layout. Check that text remains readable from the expected audience area, and confirm how motion, contrast and colour should appear in the venue’s lighting. If the design depends on pixel pitch or viewing distance, confirm those decisions against the selected installation rather than assuming one file will suit every wall. [3] [4]
Create a naming system for files, versions and publishing dates. Separate approved masters from drafts, and keep editable source files available for future updates. If several teams contribute content, decide who can publish, who can approve and how urgent changes will be handled. These simple controls reduce the risk of showing an outdated promotion, incomplete message or unapproved brand asset.

Plan testing, scheduling and handover
Before installation, agree how content will be tested on the actual wall or an accurately configured test setup. Review safe areas, transitions, playback timing, brightness, colour consistency and any captions or audio requirements. Calibration may affect how colours and brightness are presented, so include a final visual review after setup. [5] Confirm the planned operating hours, update calendar and fallback content for periods when no campaign is scheduled. Coordinate the content review with the installation team, including any access windows, control equipment and electrical coordination that could affect commissioning. [6]
Give the operator a short handover record containing approved files, publishing instructions, contacts and a process for reporting display or playback issues. Keep this record updated whenever the content workflow changes.
