A Better LED Wall Handover Checklist

Use this LED wall handover checklist to confirm installation quality, content playback, safety coordination, and ownership before sign-off.

A clear **LED wall handover checklist** helps Singapore business buyers confirm that a fixed indoor LED wall is ready for everyday use, not merely switched on for the first time. Handover is the point where installation details, operating knowledge, documentation, and outstanding items should become clear to the people who will manage the display.

SECTION / 01

Confirm the physical installation

Start by checking the installed wall against the approved layout and site conditions. Look at the screen surface from normal viewing areas for visible gaps, uneven alignment, damaged modules, or distracting brightness differences. Confirm that access panels, cable routes, ventilation areas, and surrounding finishes are practical for the room. The team responsible for the site should also know which areas need to remain clear and who should be contacted if a physical issue is found. Do not treat a clean front view as the only acceptance check; the rear, control position, and service access matter too.

SECTION / 02

Test content, viewing, and calibration

Play the types of content the business expects to use, such as presentations, branded motion graphics, video, and text-heavy slides. Check that source devices connect correctly, the intended aspect ratio is maintained, and content can be changed without confusion. Pixel pitch should be considered alongside the distance from the nearest regular viewer, because the right visual result depends on both the display and how people use the space [3]. Ask the installer to demonstrate brightness adjustment, input selection, basic restart steps, and what a normal calibrated image should look like. Calibration should be checked across the full wall rather than judged from one close-up position [4].

SECTION / 03

Close documentation and responsibilities

Before sign-off, gather the final screen layout, equipment list, control instructions, settings backup, maintenance guidance, and records of any unfinished work. Record each open item with an owner and an agreed next step instead of relying on a verbal promise. Electrical coordination should be confirmed with the relevant site team so that power arrangements, isolation points, and control equipment are understood before routine operation [5]. The handover should also identify who owns content preparation, who may change display settings, and where operating files are stored. A short, recorded demonstration is useful because it gives future users a reference after the installation team has left.
