LED Wall Content Testing for Singapore Workplaces
Learn how to test content for a fixed indoor LED wall before launch, from layout checks to playback and approval.
3 min read
LED wall content testing helps Singapore businesses find problems before a fixed indoor LED wall is viewed by staff, visitors, or customers. A proper check is more than opening a video on a laptop. It confirms that the content fits the display, plays as intended, and supports the purpose of the space.
SECTION / 01
Check the Content Layout Before Uploading
Start by reviewing the canvas size, aspect ratio, safe areas, and text placement. Content should match the planned LED wall layout rather than being stretched to fit at the last minute. Check logos, subtitles, prices, dates, calls to action, and other details at the size and distance at which people will see them. Look for cropped edges, small text, low-contrast elements, awkward line breaks, and transitions that move too quickly. If the wall is divided into zones or paired with other screens, confirm that each part of the design is assigned to the correct area.

Test Playback on the Actual System
A file can look correct in an editing programme but behave differently on the media player or control system used at the venue. Test every planned format, including still images, videos, animated graphics, and scheduled content. Confirm that files open without missing fonts, broken audio references, black frames, or unexpected pauses. Watch the content through a complete loop, including the point where it returns to the first frame. Test the intended schedule and check how the system responds when content is changed, restarted, or temporarily unavailable. This makes it easier to separate a content problem from a playback or connection problem.

Create a Clear Approval Check Before Launch
Use one agreed review copy and record changes in plain language. The content owner should confirm the message, branding, spelling, timing, and call to action, while the operations or venue team checks sequence, scheduling, and access. Keep a final approved version separate from working files so the wrong draft is not loaded during commissioning. It is also useful to inspect the wall under normal indoor lighting and from common approach routes, because a design may feel balanced on a monitor but become difficult to read in the real space. Resolve outstanding issues before the launch window rather than relying on last-minute edits.
